Definition:
Quant Traders also known as Quant Strategists, have acumen in volatility and high frequency trading space to create complex financial instruments. These traders have in depth experience in quantitative research and back-testing techniques. Emphasis is given to having proficiency in mathematics, statistics and computer programming focusing on risk management, forecasting, reserves management and portfolio structuring.  Quant Traders have deep knowledge in implementation of high frequency trading.
