Definition:
Trading systems are platforms for the buyer and seller to place orders of their subscribers. It is a system containing computer codes analyzing market price action, and then outputs trading signals on when to buy / sell / put in a stop and take profits. Popular terms for Trading systems are  Automated Trading, Trading Strategies, Black boxes, Algorithmic  trading, high frequency trading, pattern trading, trend following and technical analysis.
