Capital Call

Definition:
A Capital Call includes the request and transfer of money that has been promised from investors to fund continuing operations or to ensure that liabilities do not exceed assets. The capital call is the fulfillment of a capital call agreement and confirms that investors are commited to the agreement. Also known as a draw down.
