Definition:
Corporate Law is the area of legal practice that manages the creation, organization, operations, and dissolution of corporations. It is closely related to commercial and contract law. Corporate Law professionals are trained in the legal formation of corporations. They also construct joint ventures, licensing arrangements, mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions entered into by corporations. Other areas of practice include business agreements and tax consultations, internal forms, and venture capital financing.
