Definition:
Finance & Accounting (F&A) is responsible for cash management, financial statement preparation, compliance with regulatory agencies, risk management, and all tax-related issues within a company. F&A provides advise to senior management on profitabilty/performance of business areas, risk exposure, and the overall financial health of a corporation.
