Definition:
Public Finance is a part of investment banking where the bankers finance public sector projects. The financing of these projects are structured into municipal bonds and other government debt securities. These bonds finance various kinds of infrastructure projects. Public finance groups structure, market, and underwrite municipal securities  and advise on public-private parterships
